The Israeli airline will gradually return to work after a forced three-month stop. It was previously announced that El Al would reopen flights from Tel Aviv to Athens and back in early October.
Regular flights to New York, London and Paris will start on 12 October, El Al said in a statement today. These destinations will be operated by the Boeing-787 “Dreamliner” in three classes configuration: economy, premium and business class.
In addition to passenger flights, the airline is planning charter flights to a limited number of European countries.
Currently, passengers other than Israeli citizens and residents are not allowed to enter or transit through the country.
