In Thailand, the coronavirus was diagnosed for the first time in more than 3 months. However, today, as reported by Thai PBS World, six more new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the Kingdom. All are among the repatriates from abroad who are under state quarantine.
Yutasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, has already announced that the launch of the so-called “Phuket model”, scheduled for next month, is likely to be postponed. Officials will be visiting Phuket this weekend to discuss how to interact and counter the spread of COVID-19 with business operators. The launch date will be adjusted if the country faces a second wave of coronavirus outbreak,” the official said.
